Introducing my latest collection of free sounds tailored for the Korg Modwave. This collection draws inspiration from the iconic 1981 Korg Polysix. The Polysix, famously used by artists like Tears for Fears and Geoff Downs, served as Korg’s foray into affordable polyphonic analogue synthesizers and remains a staple for synthwave productions.

The Korg Modwave features a filter modelled after the Polysix, making it an excellent choice for recreating those classic sounds. Some of the sounds in this collection are based on presets from the virtual version of the Polysix found in the Korg Collection, while others are inspired by the diverse range of sounds the Polysix is known for.

To get started, simply download the zip file, extract the bundle, and import it via the Modwave Librarian app or directly into the Modwave Native.
