One of the great things about the Korg Modwave and Modwave Native is the ability to import and export patches, performances, wavetables, and samples. This means you can download custom sound sets (like my collection of free Modwave sounds) and export them so you can share them with other Modwave users. It also allows you to transfer data between the Native (VST) and hardware versions of the synth.

In this video, I look at how you can export patches and wavetables. I also show you how to import them into the hardware and software versions of the Modwave. Additionally, I demonstrate how to work with the Sample Builder so you can import samples into the Modwave. Finally, I show you how you can transfer sample banks between the native and hardware versions.

If you have a Modwave or Modwave Native, make sure you check out my guides (part 1, part 2 and part 3) to creating your own patches and sounds, and download my free sound sets for the Modwave.
