Motion Sequencing 2.0 on the Korg Modwave: Performance examples

One of the most powerful functions of the Korg Modwave is Motion Sequencing 2.0. Motion sequencing on the Modwave isn’t a traditional sequencer; it has timing, pitch, shape, and four lanes of step values that control and modulate multiple parameters of the synth engine. Each lane can have its own start and end loops, and each voice can have its own sequence, enabling you to create complex patterns.

In recent video, I explored all the features of the Motion Sequencer and show you how you can create amazing sequences, evolving sounds, and interesting patterns. In the video I showed off a sound collection using the Motion Sequencer which are available as a free download.

To use these patches with your Korg Modwave, download the ZIP file, unzip it, and import the bundle into the Modwave via the Modwave Librarian or directly into the Modwave Native. These patches are compatible with the original Modwave, Modwave Native, and the new Modwave mkII.

Don’t forget to explore my other free sounds for the Korg Modwave, featuring over 400 sounds ranging from ambient tones to classic Roland analogue synth patches.
