If you are a Windows Insider now is a very good time to check with channel you are on. Currently the dev and beta channel are receiving the same builds of Windows 11 but that is going to change soon. Microsoft are sending Windows Insiders with devices on the dev channel an email asking to re-evaluate their flighting channels as they will soon be shipping early development builds of Windows 11 to the dev channel. The dev channel builds could potentially be less stable and have bugs, it also won’t be the build shipping to the public later this year.
So, if your device is on the dev channel and you prefer to switch to the more stable beta channel go to Settings, Windows Update, Windows Insider Program and change to Beta. If you are happy living on the edge and want to test the latest features go to the Dev channel.
