Microsoft have update the original Hololens via a monthly patch. Update “2021-01B Update for Windows 10 Version 1809 for x86-based Holographic Devices” takes the build to 17763.1697. The original HoloLens is only getting security patches now and is remaining on the 1809 version of Windows 10.
