Plex have updated their universal Windows app fixing a problem with the app on the Windows 10 Mobile. Previously the app had issues connecting to a local server on Windows 10 Mobile and the update address this issue. It also fixes an app crash when existing the app on Windows Phone and a fix for server discovery.
With Plex you can store all your media on your own Plex server and then access it from any of your devices with their range of Plex apps. Setting up Plex and other media servers are topics covered in my new Windows 10 book.
