Yesterday at E3 Microsoft showed off the new Xbox One dashboard that is coming later this year.
Navigating around the Xbox One looks much faster and smoother, you scroll down to view your recent list and there are your Pins at the bottom. It has a lot of Windows 10 like UI elements, the quick menu items look like Windows 10 icons and the whole UI is up and down based like Windows 10 and not left to right as Windows 8.
Also coming to the Xbox One is Cortana, you can say “Hey Cortana” and the Kinect sensor will pick it up and then you can interact with the Xbox without having to pause the game. The changes look very nice and they are coming to the Xbox One later this year.
