If you are Microsoft Band owner using an Android devices I have found some new apps for you to try, as well as a couple of updated apps.
First up is an app for adding barcodes to you Microsoft Band. This works a little like the Starbucks app which displays your Starbucks ID on the Band for you to scan when you pay, but with this app you can have up to eight barcodes on the band. The app costs 79p from the Google Play Store.
Next up is MS Band Personalizer:
This app lets you set up any image from your phone as a background on the Microsoft Band and there are six colour themes to select from. The app is 77p from the Google Play Store.
Next is MS Band Sensor Monitor an app for monitoring your Band sensors.
This app views all the sensors from the Microsoft Band on your phone so you can see data from the accelerometer and heat rate sensor. This app is 78p from the Google Play Store.
Also a couple of the existing Microsoft Band apps have been updated. Enhanced Alarm for MS Band an app for sending timed alerts to the Microsoft Band has been updated to support the latest version of the Microsoft Heath app and SDK. This is free from the store.
The other updated app is the MS Band Light which is a flash light app for the Microsoft Band. This app now has a brighter light and works with the new Microsoft Band SDK. This app is free from the store.
