Microsoft continue to add features to Windows 10 with the latest additions being movies and TV shows to the beta Store app. You can browse and search for videos, movies and TV shows and then play them in the new Video app. Some feature are not implemented yet, there is no movie or TV show details yet and offline download isn’t enabled yet but it is good to see a unified store coming along.
The new content shows up when you update the beta Windows Store (which you update via beta Windows Store). I have to say the store looks pretty good. You can browse by category, view movie trailers and there is Rotten Tomatoes ratings.
You will see Movie and TV content in the following locations:
US, Canada, Mexico, Austria, Belgium (only movies – no TV content), Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Australia, Japan, and New Zealand.
