Last month Microsoft released an SDK for developers to come up with Microsoft Band apps, the SDK was released for Android and Windows Phone with iOS support “coming soon”. Today Microsoft have made available for iOS version of the SDK so developers can write apps for the Microsoft Band that are hosted on an iPhone.

With the SDK developers can access the many sensors that are on the Microsoft Band including skin temperature and heart rate and customise the many aspects of the Band. Developers have created some great apps using the Windows Phone SDK including customisation apps and sensor monitors.

One of the great things about the Microsoft Band is that is supports Windows Phone, Android and iOS.
