GoodPlayer is a great app for watching videos on iOS, it will play MKV files as well as Divx and WTV files. Recently Chromecast support was added to the app so you can stream the videos to a Chromecast as well as watching them on the local device. The app has just been updated improving the Chromecast support, there is a new sync option sets whether playback continues on the local iPhone or iPad when playing content to a Chromecast.
1. Chromecast support improved. Add a new setting option “Sync local when Chromecast”, it sets up whether or not the local iDevice media playback is on during chromecasting. The default value is “Off”.
