The Android Chromecasting app Allcast has been updated with transcoding and DLNA improvements. The app now supports DLNA Media Server so you can browse a remote DLNA server and send the media to a Chromecast dongle (or DNLA renderer).
The app also has improved audio playback, transcoding improvements are on Nexus devices (Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 4, Nexus 7, Nexus 10) and fixes for excessive refresh on Google+ and DLNA.
There is a trial version with a 60 seconds preview limit in the Google Play Store and the full version costs £3.05 as an in-app purchase
