The BBC have updated the iOS version of the iPlayer app improving the live TV features. The new On Now section displays the BBC’s currently broadcasting shows so you can easily join a show in progress. Also in the update are improved Airplay features and BBC Alba content.
The app works on the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch and can be found in the iTunes app store.

– Get all your favourite Scottish Gaelic programmes on BBC Alba
– You asked us to make Airplay easier. It’s always been possible, but now simply click the Airplay button on the iPlayer video itself!
– As usual a whole range of bug fixes to make the app even more stable.
