I recommend you take caution before upgrading to Windows 7 build 7077. Ensure you have a full back up of your data files.

I upgraded build 7022 t0 7068 with no problems and then I upgraded
to build 7077 and I found that all the file security permissions on my
D: data drive had been stripped off and corrupted rendering my system
unusable.

  1. I haven’t experienced the same problems you have. I started with fresh install of 7068, then upgraded to 7077. All is well

Being a MVP, you may want to be a bit more selective with your choice of words on a public forum. Just a suggestion

  2. I haven’t upgraded from 7068 yet because I didn’t see enough improvements in this build for me. Lucky I didn’t then.

Saying that, jbworks you had no issues with it.

I suppose the moral of the story is that it is all a little unpredictable.

  3. Richard did you do a clean install or upgrade ?

My entire system is messed up! Obviously not happy as you can all tell from my tone, but what can you do. Format and start again it’s beta after all.
