I keep meaning to mention this: Pete Stagman is putting together a “Connected Home Day” in Boston. It’s a free full day of training for the novice computer user. The event will be held at Microsoft’s North East Sales office in Waltham on September 13th and the registration link is on Pete’s site. So if you know someone that would benefit from the training pass them on the link

The event is called “The Connected Home Day”. It’s a full day training for novice computer users who want to learn how to build and secure a home network, use Microsoft Media Center to it’s full potential and use Windows Home Server to store and backup their important documents and precious Digital Photos and Videos. We will also be covering the Analog to Digital conversion in Feb 2009 and what it means to the average person.

  1. I want to make this but it’s not a possibility. My schedule is already full for that day and I couldn’t make the drive in time. I could make arrangements to attend things like this in the northeast with about 3 months notice…

Hopefully this won’t be the only one ever offered.
