Here's what I would like to be able to do: Turn my computer on, and have Media Center startup on my secondary display (HDTV). The HDTV is running as an extended display, with a LCD in my office as the primary display.
Once the computer has been started, I can setup the displays as mentioned above using Catalyst Control Center, and run Media Center on the HDTV. The problem is when the computer is shut down and restarted, Media Center will only start on the primary display. Then I have to manually move it over to the HDTV screen.
I am 90% convinced that the problem is due to the fact that the ATI driver (or CCC, I'm not sure which) is loading AFTER Media Center. When Media Center loads it only sees one monitor available (the LCD in my office). By the time the driver or CCC starts, Media Center has already started up on the primary display. Does anyone know how to correct this problem? Specifically, is there a way to get the driver (or CCC or both) to start before Media Center, so that the HDTV would be an active display BEFORE Media Center starts?
