This week I am talking to David Thompson of Manchester based Tranquil PC about their new Windows Home Server the SQA-5H, its is a Intel Atom powered cube based server with space for 5 drives and plenty of innovations including a one touch backup button that backs up the shares to an external drive. I also talked to David about their Windows Home Server based Music ripping box. I have email, news items and news of the updated website

Hey there Ian... How come you have NOT posted this show in the Microsoft MESH online folder you created?   I have that synched on my Home Server and thus i automatically have access to it on my Xbox 360 for playback, but since you are not putting it in the MESH folder I have to go out and fetch it..  Come on dude... Help me out here.   Post it in the Mesh folder so that it automatically synch down to my WHS, Media Center, Xbox ecosystem in my homes in Chicago and West Palm, FL :)

I mean now I am ranting.   You can just create MESH folder on your server where you are hosting the MP3 to automatically update the MESH live folder whenever you promote the podcast from stage to production on your www servers.  If you do not want to run MESH on your prod server, then just synch it with your staging server.  The beauty of Mesh is that you can host it in your DMZ or in your private net and it used HTTP to do the synch update.  Eitherway get this into your process/workflow for publishing the podcast so that it automatically replicated to my home server.  Thanks!
