GBM Video Review of the HP Tx2051

As I blogged about before I my holiday I think that HP's new Entertainment PC the Tx2051 will make a great Media Center laptop. I still trying to get my hands on one but Warner Crocker at GottaBeMobile.com has a video review up showing off the Tx. Hopefully Warner can get some more videos up showing off Media Center in a future video

I have a version of this laptop-- i really like using it in both slate (tablet) mode and regular laptop mode.  It comes with a slick mediacenter remote control that slides into the express card slot. One thing that might be interesting to your audience is that it doesn't seem to be capable of serving as a host for MediaCenter extenders.  I have both an xbox 360 elite and an HP mediasmart TV (with the extender upgrade), and neither can connect to the Tx2000 laptop. I've been scouring the internet, and it looks like either the fingerprint reader or the wacom digitizer drivers interfere with the Extenders connecting to the laptop. Anyway, I haven't heard of anyone successfully using it with Extenders, although if youo disable the fingerprint reader on the predecessor (the TX1000), xbox 360 can connect.
