Tip: Adding items to Extras Start Menu in Windows 7

Haven't seen this mentioned elsewhere but in Windows 7 RC its really easy to add items to extras bar on the start menu. Just go to an item within extras library press the info button and select Add to Start Menu...

So easy I couldn't believe I hadn't spotted it before.

Cool. Also, if on your PC with a mouse, right click will get you to the same menu.

Great tip! Beats messing about with extra strips in the registry. Many thanks!

Is there any differences with this option in vista ? It installs the shortcut in the revelant menu strip : if your add-on is in Movie + TV, it will install on the TV strip, etc.

7 is very different in how it handles extras than Vista. It will only install them in the Extra's library. The More TV etc options have gone.
