In this video, I review the Zyxel Multy mesh router. The system is a Tri-band AC3000 system with two unit which covers 464m2 range with a single SSID and password (£249.99 on Amazon)
Installing the system is quick and easy, I used the Multy Android app (iOS is also available) which used Bluetooth to do the initial setup. Once the first device is up and running its simple to add the satellite device.
Once up and running I found I had excellent WiFi coverage around my home. I placed one upstairs and the main unit connected to my router downstairs.
The devices are sloid and well made with no aerials hanging off it. Each device has four Ethernet ports and a USB connection. There are some handy features like guest Wi-Fi, parental control and Amazon Alexa support.
In this video I setup the Multy X system and see what it can do.
