One of the great uses for Windows Mixed Reality is to watch 360 degree videos from places like YouTube, I love watching the Formula One on-board cameras in 360 and be able to look around at all the action. To enable this in Windows Mixed Reality Microsoft have an extension for Microsoft Edge that enables immersive mode with Microsoft Edge and Windows Mixed Reality.

The extension is free from the Microsoft Store and Microsoft have just updated it. The new version fixes issues with YouTube videos not playing correctly; I found it fixed my issues with immersive mode not working at all on YouTube. It also seems to add a immersive mode for 2D videos as well so you can watch them on a curved screen without any other distractions.
