With the last update of the Media Browser server there has been some nice little improvements in the Chomecast features of the web client. The last update of the server introduced support for WebP image output which have a much smaller file size then PNG or JPG files so Chromecast uses will see much fasting rendering of images on the device. There is a progress bar on the detail screen so you can see how far you are through a movie when you resuming and there is a logo in the upper left hand corner when you pause a movie.
You will see the changes after rebooting your server and the iOS and Android version should be getting the new features soon. You can get the server from MediaBrowser.tv
