A couple of weeks ago Microsoft announced a change to the Windows Insiders Programme with a change to the rings structure. Today the changes are going live for Windows Insiders.
The fast ring has become the Dev Channel, the slow ring has become the Beta Channel and the Release Preview ring has become the Release Preview Channel. Microsoft said they changed the rings so they can focus on update quality rather than release frequency.
