Microsoft have released its regular monthly update patch for the first gen HoloLens.
The patch is “2020-03B Update for the Windows 10 Version 1809 for x86-based Holographic Devices” and is a monthly security update to the HoloLens OS. After installing the update the build number is 17763.1098.
The HoloLens is getting monthly updates but there are no feature updates coming to the device. I do wonder how Microsoft are going to handle security updates for the original HoloLens once the 1809 version of Windows 10 goes out of support in May.
