I am big fan of Philips Hue lights having them all around my home, last year Philips ventured into the outdoor market and this week at CES they added a new sensor to the range. The new Philips Hue Outdoor sensor is a battery powered wall mounted sensor that can control your Philips Hue lights, in-doors and out. It has a 12m detection range and a dawn-dusk sensor so it only is triggered when its dark outside. You could use it to turn on your outdoor lights as you approach your front door or have it switch on a indoor light making it look like someone is home. The sensor will cost 49 EURO and will be available next month.
