Amazon’s latest Echo is now available to pre-order in the UK. The round screen based Echo Spot will be released January 24th, costs £119.99 and is available in black or white. The Spot is works just like the rest of the Echo device and supports video calls, video playback and unlike the bigger Amazon Echo Show it also has a 3.5mm audio output so you can connect it up to a bigger speaker.

It looks like it would be a great device to use as an alarm clock in the bedroom (if you are not worried about having a camera in your bedroom) and we should have a review soon:
