A couple of months ago Plex launched a beta of Plex Cloud its cloud based media server which removes the need to have your own hardware media server. Initially it only supported Amazon Drive but now Plex have added support for Google Drive, Dropbox and OneDrive. Currently you need a Plex Pass to use it and it’s a closed beta but Plex say they are “ramping up the invites starting December 5th”
This should good for people like me with 1TB of OneDrive storage.
