We Windows Insides can be an inpatient bunch, no sooner than we get the Anniversary Update we start hassling Microsoft for new builds. In a post on the Windows Feedback Hub Microsoft have said they are getting ready to release new builds from the Development Branch (Redstone 2) to the fast ring again with PC builds coming first and then mobile in a few weeks. At first we won’t see many noticeable changes as initially the improvements are to the Windows core (OneCore) with feature updates coming over the next few months.

We are now getting ready to start releasing new builds from our Development Branch to Windows Insiders in the Fast ring again. Just like we did after the release of the Windows 10 November Update – we will start off by releasing PC builds from our Development Branch first and then start releasing Mobile builds a few weeks after.

Microsoft are also reminding Insiders that the Release Preview ring will now only receive Cumulative Updates for build 14393. In fact now is a good time to check which Windows Insiders ring you want your devices on. Fast Ring will get the latest builds that will probably have bugs, the slow ring gives you development builds but these tend to be released less frequently and are more stable builds with Release Preview giving you the latest Cumulative Update, apps and drive updates to the OS.

As I did with the Redstone 1 development builds I will do hands on videos with the significant builds and you see our Windows 10 videos on our YouTube channel.
