Media Browser server has been updated adding a couple of new features and fixing a couple of bugs. You can now configure which devices a user is able to connect to a server so you could set user could use a Chromecast to watch movies but prevent them from using an Android phone remotely, so you have full control over users and devices.
The TV naming feature has been improved, Media Browser now uses Kodi’s rules for detecting the name and metadata. Also mixed folders are no longer auto-detected for content types leaving it up to you to you to manage your folder this prevents incorrect content matches.
Fixed in this release are PGS subtitles not working and a fix for search returning missing and an unaired episodes.
