A couple of weeks ago Intel announced the Compute Stick a PC on a HDMI stick and that got a lot of enthusiasts excited about the possibilities of a low cost HDMI PC. I just came across similar devices from Hannspree available now. The HannsG Hannspree Micro PC Stick has an Intel Atom Z3735F Quad Core processor running at 1.8Ghz with 2GB RAM and 32GB EMMC storage. It has WiFi, MicroSD card slot supporting up to 64GB, Bluetooth (4.0) and comes with Windows 8.1 pre-installed.

I found it on Dabs.com (owned by BT) for £169.99 which is probably more than the Intel version will be but (Intel said $149) but is still a pretty good price for a PC with Windows 8.1 and would make a good media center type device. Anybody going to try one?
