We have been following the progress of VLC for Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone since a Kickstarter project was launched. This year it was released for Intel Windows 8.1 devices and a couple of weeks ago we saw a photo of the app on a Surface RT. Now we have the first photo of VLC running on a Windows Phone.
The developers say all the normal formats are supported including MVK, unfortunately we don’t have an actual release date yet but it looks like it is getting closer.
