When the BBC launched the BBC Sports app they focused on the mobile experience for phones and smaller tablets, for larger tablets they recommended the using the BBC Sport website. Responding to feedback the BBC have decided to optimise and scale up the app for larger tablets.
The iOS app now supports the iPad and the Android app adds support for devices above 7 inches. Also added to the Android app has the ability to listen to live radio while reading report on the app. The Amazon Store version adds support for the Kidnle Fire HD 8.9 and the Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 devices.
