The Raspberry Pi foundation have announced that the Model A version of the Raspberry Pi is on sale in Europe. The Model A is stripped down version of the Pi as it a no Ethernet port, just one USB port and 256MB of RAM and comes in at only £19.33 including VAT . The idea being it’s a cheaper and lower power device than the Model B and would be great with XBMC for a standalone Media Center project as well as other project that need to be low powered.
