As with iOS there have been plenty of app updates for Android while I was away at CES, here are some of the interesting ones:

The first app is BBC News for Android. The app adds live video for Gingerbread users, fixes background updates and the news carousel remembers where you were up to.

Following feedback on our last release we have made a number of improvements including:

• Issue with automatic background updates that affected a minority of users fixed
• Small number of other minor bug fixes

– Streamlined new user registration
– Simplified Evernote Premium upgrade process
