Here on TDL we like to look at the latest and greatest gadgets but it’s important to remember how far the computer industry has come.

The Harwell Computer is the according to Wikipedia “the oldest original functioning electronic stored program computer in the world”. It was built in 1951 and the National Museum of Computing at Bletchley Park have just finished restoring the Harwell back to working condition.
