It great that to Microsoft keep updating the apps that ship with Windows 8 and Windows RT and the latest app to get an update is the Music app. I got the update on my Surface over the weekend but looking at the release notes Microsoft don’t give any clue on what the changes are.
The notes in the Windows Store say:

Various performance enhancements and feature updates, including the addition of free streaming from the Xbox Music Store and Smart DJ, which creates customised playlists based on your favorite artists
Which is the same as the text as the last update but if your in the US you get a different set of notes:

This update fixes several bugs.
Looks like someone forgot to update the notes for the UK version, I updated the app and can’t see any significant changes.
