Today was the press day for the Gadget Show Live 2012, the show opens to the public tomorrow and while there wasn’t a lot of new devices to show off I did get some pictures I thought I would share. I also have a few videos which I will get up over the next few days. Once again my highlight was the retro zone by the Centre for Computing History but I will do a separate post for that.

It’s been a while but I finally got to see a Raspberry Pi in the flesh, once again lots of interest in the low cost computer.

Samsung had a pretty big presence with lots of its Galaxy Tablets and phones on show.

Samsung had a selection of their Tabs on display, the 7.7 is a nice form factor but I don’t think Android works as well on a tablet as it does on a phone.

I am using my Samsung Galaxy Note full time as my phone now and Samsung had plenty of then to show off along with the Galaxy S2 which looks a nice phone.

Samsung also had there Navibot room cleaner which uses a camera to look at the ceiling to see where it is in the room.

There were lots of Xbox 360s ready for gamers to hit the show in the next few days.

Not all the gadgets were phones or tablets, Philips had a nice range of coffee machines.

For musicians there were lots of stands showing off music tools including iRig with their range of iOS add ons and apps.
