Back in October there were major problems with the EPG data in Windows Media Center with no data being downloaded and only over the air EPG present in the system. The problem was fixed by Microsoft but it looks like the issue has returned.
The issue seems to be guide data runs out on the 12/01/2012, I checked my system and the guide data indeed does run out on the 12th. I have had lots of emails and tweets confirming the problem. Hopefully Microsoft can get a fix sorted ASAP

I hope for a fix soon too, if not it may be a time to crack out your workaround to get data form other sources, was your fix just HD channels or will it work for all UK channels can’t remember???

hey ian… anyone had their hands on the quad dvbt2 from blackgold? i’ve seen some pretty negative comments on the net about the drivers not being ready and that the unit gets scorching hot when recording 4 channels.

I just did the BBC HD channel, but the loadmxf tool could be used.

Not heard any feedback on the quad tuner, I have no issues with the dual tuner
