Microsoft have another app out for the iPad, this time it’s MSN UK for the iPad. The app includes news, sport and entertainment articles, basically an iPad version of the MSN UK home page. I have just had a quick play and its nice typical iPad type news app, lots of pictures and videos and swiping navigation.
The MSN experience is now enhanced on iPad – easily swipe to find your favourite news, sport and entertainment articles and videos. Excited about something you read on MSN for iPad? Just tap and share with your friends on Facebook and Twitter (or e-mail a link to the article). Reading articles on MSN for iPad feels natural, no matter how you hold your iPad – in either portrait or landscape modes. We’ve added popular photo galleries, slideshows and videos to add depth to what you’re browsing. You can even download stories to your iPad for when you’re not connected to a network later. Need to dig deeper on something you just read? We’ve built Bing right into the top of the app for easy searching. You may see the dialog box showing that the download is in progress, but the background downloading of the issue may have stopped. Tap Cancel to close the dialog box. You may need to close and restart the app to resume the offline download. We will have this fixed in an upcoming version of MSN for iPad. We appreciate your understanding.
