The Windows 8 beta must be getting closer as Microsoft seem to be reviling more details about the OS. This time its about the “Engineering Windows 8 for mobile networks”. In the blog post Microsoft talk about how they have redesigned the networking stack in Windows 8 to work better with wifi 3G and 4G networks. In Windows 7 a network is either off or on and it looks like Windows 8 is going to be much smarter. Things like getting connected to wifi after coming out of standby in a second rather than around 8 seconds in Windows 7. All this is going to make the tablet experience much better in Windows 8.
