In the Developer Preview of Windows 8 there are very few media features other than the old Windows Media Player but I expect to see Metro styled media player in the beta out in February. This week some screenshots from Windows 8 have been leaked showing the new built in music. It looks like a cross between the Zune PC app and Windows Phone and enables pinning of music and has links to a music store.
There is no guarantee that the screens are authentic but it looks as you would expect a Windows 8 Media Player to look

I’m liking Windows 8 (metro) less and less every day. Metro works great on Windows Phone (and Zune & WMC if they count) but on 360 and in the Preview, its horrible.

If the WMP replacement is like an updated Zune player I’ll be happy with that for the 2 foot UI.
I hope Windows Media Center Music Library and WMC in general also gets a face lift but I am not holding my breath on that!
