Microsoft are keeping the updates for Windows Phone coming, last night I received an update for my HD7 that adds Internet Sharing, something that I have been waiting for since I got my Windows Phone.  Today they have started rolling out an update 7.10.7740 which has a fix for Exchange email and voice mail notifications.  I am not being offered the update yet but TDL reader Rob Green said he got the update today.

  1. I got a notification on my Samsung Omnia 7 for update 7.10.7740 last night around midnight, updated it today no worries.

Still no Internet Sharing for me though but that has to be Orange UK blocking it now!

  2. I got an update notice when I tethered my phone, still have never received one direct to the phone, and it installed no problem. This is how updates should be with no carrier involvement although odd that MS haven’t posted on this topic.

  3. 7740 arrived this morning, along with Internet tethering for my Vodafone HTC Trophy. It has made me extremely happy. Yes, I need to get out more.

Now we just need Skype .
