Microsoft posted an amazing video showing their vision for the future of productivity. The video shows collaboration, natural user interface and a ecosystem of connected devices. Interestingly the user interfaces in the video while are all a long way off look very Metro like. There is a lot of data pulled together for this type of system all brought together for data mining.
Well worth watching and I have to say a pretty inspiring video. The Microsoft blog describes it as:

The video shows our vision for a future where technology extends and highlights our productive capabilities; it helps us manage our time better, focus our attention on the most important things, and foster meaningful connections with the people we care about.
All of the ideas in the video are based on real technology. Some of the capabilities, such as speech recognition, real time collaboration and data visualization already exist today. Others are not yet available in specific products, but represent active research and development happening at Microsoft and other companies.
