On Monday Apple released and then pulled version 4.4.1 update for the Apple TV. The update was released to fix connection issues with the 4.4 version but the 4.4.1 update was causing bricking of the device and so Apple have pulled the update. There is no news on when the update when the update will be released.
Apple released Apple TV Update 4.4.1 on Monday to address upgrade issues some users were experiencing after installing the new version 4.4 update. Apple later pulled the 4.4.1 update, however, after reports that users had to restore to earlier software versions to get their Apple TV working again after installing the update.
