If you have a PS3 Bluetooth remote you can use it with Windows Media Center via a handy 3rd party application. You pair up the Remote with your PC and install the server application on the PC, you can then control Media Center from the remote.

Functionality:

  • Triple-tap support. User can toggle this on & off.
  • Runs in the tray (no windows apart from when you open the configuration section).
  • Configuration section – available from the tray menu!
  • Shows you battery level when you hover over system tray icon.
  • System tray icon is grey when disconnected and blue when connected.
  • Remote hibernation to save on battery life (still in testing).
Current Limitations:
  • The user has the pair the remote manually outside of the program.
  • Remote hibernation feature still in testing.
