With the launch of Windows 7 coming next week but with most readers of this blog already played with the beta and release candidates I wanted to find out what readers favourite Windows 7 features are. For me I think Home Group, its a great feature and has made sharing content between Windows Media Center systems much easier than Windows Vista and there are lots of other elements that make Windows 7 better than it’s predecessors. I would have to agree with Home Group, it makes life soooo much easier when networking at home.
Always hoped to say Media Center… but the new task bar
For me it’s turning off the annoying UAC prompts that were in Vista.
I would have to be DLNA. I hope developers expand on its functionally. Especially expanding multi-room syncing capability.
Toss up between DLNA and the very slick UI.
For me it has to be the support of dvb-s in conjunction with dvb-t although I know an OEM version existed on Vista but that never shipped and if you got a copy it never worked. I also really like the stability / quality feel of WMC7
