One of the issues I had with the Xtreamer media streamer (see my video review) apart from the UPnP issues was the fan noise. While I didn’t find it to much of an issue (I have lived with the Xbox 360 fan noise) I know some people will. So its good to see Tranquil PC (the makes of fanless Window Home Servers) are launching an external cooler for the Xtreamer. The cooler should be easy to install and will keep the unit silent, no news on price yet but as the Xtreamer is only £99 I can’t see the cooler being that expensive.
