Basically it looks like the content providers are pushing the Beeb to impose content protection once Freeview HD is up and running. Have to say it sounds like the way they are planning to implement it might be feasible to implement in Media Centre but whether it would be may be another matter. Not yet approved by the regulator and there is some opposition. Anyway give the article a read for more details.
