Well if you’re not already running Windows 7, build 7000 or “the Beta” then you can download it tomorrow. The usual warnings about it being beta apply, but it is pretty stable.
There is already a patch out though that you will really want to apply to protect your music collection, without it your mp3s will get damaged. It’s just one reason why there are warnings associated with Beta software. Remember backup your stuff before you run a Beta.
The patch (KB961367), along with the general Beta release will be available Friday 9th Jan. Obviously you can get it from other sources though.
