Over Christmas Martin Millman was working hard on TunerFree MCE and he’s come out with a fantastic looking new interface. Far nicer than selecting the channel based on just a text menu TunerFree MCE now has a nice graphic for each channel. Viewing by Dates has also been improved in the same way and searching has got even better, with “as you type” style searching.
Setup is the usual breeze, but you’ll need to give your machine time to build up the cache after you install.
TunerFree MCE is Only available in the UK because of the restrictions of the broadcasters, you know that I love this add-in and it just got even better. It’s still my recommendation for the number one free Add-in in the Digital Lifestyle awards.

That’s not quite true “TunerFree MCE is Only available in the UK” We have had TunerMCE running here in Thailand ! Using a VPN back to a UK server, we tried a Proxy Service but it didn’t work as well.
